Full Moon Magazine is an established music publication with a loyal reader community. The client needed to modernize their platform to visually match the print magazine, significantly streamline the editorial workflow, and introduce a sustainable digital subscription model.
The need for a progressive design that reflects the magazine’s identity
An outdated system hindering both creative and day-to-day editorial work
A lack of infrastructure for content monetization and subscription sales
Time-consuming manual work required to add album metadata and music previews
Progressive Design and Modern CMS
A distinctive visual identity that highlights the magazine's alternative spirit. The most fundamental change is a user-friendly editorial system featuring a flexible editor, allowing for attractive and rich article layouts without any technical barriers.
Monetization: Sinfin Boutique
Deployment of our smart paywall for effective premium content gating. The entire system is linked with an integrated payment gateway to ensure a fast and seamless subscription purchase process directly on the website.
Music Data Plugin and Audio Embeds
Automating routine tasks—while writing reviews, the system automatically pulls album artwork, release years, and genres from external databases. Additionally, the editorial team can easily embed music players from Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube.

The Folio content management system allows for the publishing of various article types — including specials with custom graphics, video, audio, photo galleries, reviews, and multi-page articles.

The PDF viewer not only allows for smooth page-flipping but also features a integrated paywall, ensuring that the full magazine content is reserved exclusively for subscribers.

Articles pass through a status workflow—from draft and proofreading to scheduled publishing. Each user role sees and does only what they are supposed to. The audit log tracks every change with a diff, so you always know who modified what and when. Unpublished articles can be shared via a preview token, allowing proofreaders or PR partners to view them without logging in.

Boutique offers advanced options for creating subscription plans. Both print and digital subscriptions go into a single shopping cart, allowing the reader to pay just once.
