Squared.one (Vyvolej.to) was born as our in-house product, aiming to make professional photo lab services accessible to everyone and replace complex ordering processes with an intuitive online service. The main challenge was to build a robust platform featuring a web-based photo product editor and to fully digitalize the physical manufacturing workflows.

E-Commerce Platform and Web Editor
We developed a custom-built e-commerce application (Ruby on Rails). It features an advanced editor that allows users to easily create a wide variety of photo products directly in their browser. Additionally, the entire website automatically localizes, including currencies and payment gateways (Stripe, GoPay), for both European and American markets.
Digitalization of Physical Manufacturing
We connected code with the real world. We built an automated workflow that transfers data from the website directly to the printing presses, managing inventory and shipping. As a result, the entire process is error-free, and customers can track the exact stage of their order in real time.
Logistics and Delivery Network
We implemented a smart system for smooth global shipping. Through the integration of ShippyPro and direct API connections with dozens of carriers (from Zásilkovna to FedEx or Asendia), the platform automatically prints shipping labels and manages delivery to customers.
The website adapts to customers from both the EU and the US—from language to currency. Powering the background is a sophisticated logistics system (ShippyPro and carrier APIs like FedEx or UPS). As a result, the platform seamlessly manages automated fulfillment and delivery from the Czech lab straight to the world.
At the core of the user experience is a photo product editor integrated directly into the browser. Without installing any apps, customers can easily upload their photos, crop them, and create everything from classic retro prints to posters and photobooks.
We connected the web interface with a real print lab and warehouse. The system sends source files directly to production machinery, automates the order workflow, and digitally manages material inventory for smooth operations.
