Controlled Czech is an open specification, a deterministic linter and a plugin for AI agents. The project is maintained by Sinfin. This page applies to every distribution channel, including plugin directories.
The plugin contains the text of the rules only. It ships no server, collects no telemetry and sends no content to Sinfin servers. Sinfin gets no access to your code, documentation or prompts.
Text you process in an AI agent is handled by your agent provider under their terms. That means Anthropic for Claude Code and OpenAI for ChatGPT and Codex. Sinfin is not a party to that relationship.
The linter is an executable that runs locally and offline. It uses no language model, makes no network calls and never rewrites your text. Checked files never leave your machine or your CI.
The linter code is available under the MIT licence. The machine-readable rule data is available under MIT or CC BY 4.0. The specification, documentation, examples and templates are available under CC BY 4.0. The full text is in the LICENSE file in the repository.
You may use the rules commercially, modify them and redistribute them. Attribute the origin of the project.
Controlled Czech is at version 0.1 and the rules may change. The linter deliberately covers only part of the specification and its output is a warning, not a decision. The author of a published text remains responsible for its content. Sinfin provides the tool without warranty.
